September 2015 Bulletin
In good military fashion, we hit the ground run-ning in September. Office Manager, Steve, was seconded to Walking with The Wounded to drive one of the support vehicles during their ‘Walk of Britain’. Steve also took John Hall DFC (96 years) to Barnard Castle to meet the ‘Walk of Britain’ team to share intergenerational war stories. Colin H. and our military ‘Back in the Game’ grad-uates joined the ‘Walk of Britain’ team walking from Morpeth to Newcastle reaching Starbucks, Neville St. by mid-afternoon for a reception. Newcastle City Council’s Lord Mayor and Armed Forces Champion, Cllr. Veronica Dunn, Starbucks partners and ‘Mission Employable’ veterans hosted the walkers. A great time was enjoyed by all in attendance. The day was rounded off at The Sage in Gateshead where the evening’s en-tertainment was gloriously provided by The Military Wives’ Choir.
