March 2016 Bulletin

March proved to be very exciting and fast paced for Forward Assist. The exploration of new ventures with like-minded and complimentary organisations, the completion of the graphics to our minibus, and another veteran into employment with Starbucks through our ‘Mission Employable’ program.

Resident head chef, Shelley Hamilton-Smith, continued to share her expertise in the kitchen providing individual living skills to veterans living on their own. Pasta bake, southern fried chicken, and spaghetti bolognaise were on this month’s menu. Forces TV attended our community Cook2Give and spoke to our older veterans, who were very complimentary about the food and the service (provided by staff from Kier Group).
