Forward Assist Present Bespoke 'Hand Crafted' Bush Craft Knife to guest from the USA

Earlier this year, members of the recently formed Arkansas Veterans International Exchange Programme visited the UK to make arrangements for six UK veterans to travel to the USA as part of a cultural exchange. The visit will include opportunities to experience outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting and will take place in October 2013. One of the guests, Mayor Vernon Dollar  has offered to accommodate the group at a hunting lodge and provide access to fishing opportunities on both lakes and rivers. In appreciation he was presented with a bespoke 'hand crafted' knife by Forward Assist CEO Tony Wright . The specialist bush craft knife was made by Northumberland based artisan and Armed Forces Veteran, Paul 'Frenchy' Frenach. Paul makes Bushcraft and Wilderness Living tools as a therapeutic activity and finds that by making these practical  and much coverted working tools it helps him cope with his own difficulties associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  Mayor Dollar a keen outdoors man, Vietnam Veteran and former Law Enforcement Officer was visible moved when told about Paul's dedication to his art and was delighted with the gift describing it as a piece of art. He said he couldn't wait to show his new knife to all his friends!   He also assured us the knife would get plenty of use as he planned to put it to work on his ranch following his return home.  Please check out Frenchy's website at http://www.customknivesandsticks.co.uk/index.htm
